i want to use OST in my small business and testing the whole thing in here - looks very good and i have to thank every developer.
I have searched the forum and found 2 Problems nearby, but no working solution....look here:
(UTF-8 Encoding / ÄÖÜ)
(German letters äääüüüööö )
My System is a Debian with 3.2.x - OST is installed from source
Webserver is Apache2, config is:
DefaultLanguage de
AddDefaultCharset ISO-8859-1
Locale in Debian is ISO-8859-1, too. All LC Settings are checked and good.
If i login to the "scp" admin panel - every locale like "ä/ü/ö/ß" is showing correctly, but if i enter as a "guest" all locales are like:
"möglich" looks like "m�glich" :-(
In the SCP:
"Löschen" looks like "Löschen" :-)
It seems like the languages are not working perfect and there is some bug in the php code. In the other Thread someone fixed the whole thing with some hotfixes in the source, since then i cant find any update in the code - so the hotfix must be the best i can get. Is this right?
