All times showing UTC regardless of settings

Hello,

My issue is that all the times in the system are showing the UTC time when I want to show EST time. I've set date.timezone in PHP and the timezone in the admin panel to America/New_York. I've also tried setting the individual user timezone in the agent profile with no success. The server is set to UTC and mysql is using SYSTEM time which I've read is how it is supposed to be set. Regardless, these settings don't seem to work and I'm not sure what else to check. Any assistance is appreciated.

Can you show screenshots of Admin Panel > Settings > System and Profile > Preferences?

I meant two screenshots:

Admin Panel > Settings > System
Profile > Preferences

That all looks correct so far. Can you change your Admin Panel > Settings > System > Date and Time Options > Date and Time Format setting from "– Advanced –" to the default option of "Locale Defaults", Save Changes, and retest? If that doesn't work then your server/system is having trouble converting the timezone somehow.

How did you create the database? Like what character set and collation?

I also see that you are using "1.17-git". You should really be using the official builds from our website.
