I have register my account in the Support Center and I forgot my password however when i hit the forgot password link and check my email I didn't received any emails in my inbox nor in my spam folder in gmail

Sounds like you don’t have SMTP configured properly. For now reset your password from the DB and then setup outgoing mail (SMTP) correctly.

I am able to fix this by resetting the password under the users directory thanks
