I have already got email fetching working on my test system for osticket. Can I use the information from the first Azure application registration on a different computer (i.e. production system)?

Or would I need another Azure application registration?

You can reuse the same app information however you would need to update the app to add the new URL if it has changed and in the osTicket instance (Redirect URI) if you’re importing the database and the URL has changed.

I ended up using the local host as the redirect URL (http://localhost/osticket/api/auth/oauth2). I saw that in a screenshot for one of the guides. It worked fine for my test system and created a token. Was that a mistake in doing that?

Should I delete the token from my test system?

The only issue with that is you wouldn't be able to manually submit the config popup from your custom domain. You'd have to login to the helpdesk under localhost and submit it from there each time. This of course will only need to happen once the Client Secret fully expires or the Token doesn't get automatically refreshed and the Refresh Token expires.
