I am currently using version 1.15.8 and have encountered issues trying to update the allowed filetypes when inside Admin->Settings->Tickets->Attachments Config

As I understand, the addition or removal of filetypes in the "Additional File Type Filters:" text box should allow / disallow users to upload those specific filetypes on their ticket.

My issue is that any updates made to the text field, whether addition or removal are not reflected inside the allowed_filetypes value column inside ost_config.

Any updates to the filetypes are saved inside a ost_form_field column, which does not impact the users ability to add or remove filetypes to their ticket as far as I can tell.

The modifications I have made to the existing version of osTicket are superficial and should not impact the software's ability to pass information to the database.

Would anybody know why updating the filetypes via admin does not update the allowed_filetypes inside ost_config?

    You are using an old, outdated, and unsupported version of osTicket. You need to upgrade and retest.
