Hi All,
I have a problem I don't quite understand.
I have installed the last version of osTicket (v1.7.0) on a CentOS 6.4 64 bit VM that already has a Drupal site (it means it has LAMP) (PHP v5.3).
Using phpMail functions, when trying to send a test mail from Test Outgoing Email page although I am choosing valid mail at the from dropbox. the logs showing that the 'from' mail is not from the valid mail but from the apache@hostname.localdomain of the server:
Sep 3 23 utilit postfix/qmgr: AE62320F7E: from=<apache@utilit.localdomain>, size=539, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Sep 3 23 utilit postfix/smtp: AE62320F7E: to=<XXX@XXX.com>, relay=XXX.XXX.com, delay=1.6, delays=0.19/0/1.2/0.19, dsn=5.1.8, status=bounced (host XXX.XXX.com said: 553 5.1.8 <apache@utilit.localdomain>... Domain of sender address apache@utilit.localdomain does not exist (in reply to MAIL FROM command))
This is not happening when I send mail through Drupal system.
How can I force the from mail to be the mail I need?
cause this mail relay is checking if this is valid domain.
(sending mail to Gmail works fine perhaps Gmail isn't looking on the domain)
Regards,
Itamar
