Is there any way to build a custom queue that only showed the parent ticket and none of the child tickets for a set of linked tickets? I would like to only be able to access the child tickets in the Related Tickets tickets section of the parent.

No, the linked criteria for searches only checks if a Ticket is linked or not. This means if you link Ticket B with Ticket A and run a search for Linked -> unchecked it will hide both Ticket A and Ticket B as they are both Linked. The same thing applies to Merged Tickets.

Now, you could set the Child Ticket to a separate status and filter it out that way but that's the only option for now.
KevinTheJedi Good idea. I guess I could also assign it to a different user and sort it that way as well. That way I could keep my status.
KevinTheJedi Using this as inspiration. It was important to keep my status, so I created a new user called Linked Tickets and assign them to it. It appears to assign it to me when I close them. So I don't lose ticket counts on reports and my screen is far less cluttered.
