Issue with Bracket <> on Canned Response

Hi, I would like to create a canned response by including <a> tag inside <pre> tag. After I clicked the HTML icon, it still remain the tag <a> as below.

When I clicked HTML icon again, it's show the "<a" tag change to the "<a". Is there any way to remain the link inside "<pre>" tag same as the outside of "<pre>" tag like image below?

KevinTheJedi I have put the <a> tag link inside <pre> tag like image below.

Once I want to view my canned response, it's showing the <a> tag in html formatted as image below.

But, I want the link that put inside <pre> tag is similar display as the image below, it's showing the word "here" only without displaying <a> html format.

As with any WYSIWYG editor putting code inside <pre> tags formats it as readable code (ie. it displays the raw content). If you want to render the actual HTML you must place the code outside the <pre> tags.
