Email Setup problems

Hi,

Have just done a clean install of OST v1.7 but have a problem setting up email. "SMTP Settings: When enabled the email account will use SMTP server instead of internal PHP mail() function for outgoing emails.

Failed to connect to gateway.bjss.com "

Our current v1.6 is using the same settings but a different account. The account in the new setup is a copy of the working one. Telnet to the Exchange server from the new OST box is working fine for both SMTP & IMAP.

Anyone got any ideas please?

CentOs huh? Try disabling SELinux. See if that fixes your problem. If it does that you will need to alter your SELinux configuration to accommodate mail.
