I have quite a lot of reason for my ticketing system and I used drop down list. Can we do searching if we use drop down to make it easier to select from the list?

Did you modify the code and change the word "Help Topic" to "Reasons"? Or is "Reasons" an actual custom list (Admin Panel > Manage > Lists)? If the latter, then you can simply make this typeahead: Admin Panel > Manage > Forms > click your form > click Config next to the Reasons field > change Widget to Typeahead
