How can I configure SMTP outgoing?

I am using version 1.7 and that options is not available on Admin's Panel under Email options.

Currently every time that I am sending a system email (ticket created, ticket assigned or any similar action) I have to wait about 30-40 sec. to realease the webpage.

I checked /var/log/mailog and it is consistent when the webpage is released and the system is able to release the mail by sendmail, maybe PHP-mail option is taking too much time to resolve the SMTP way or somethig like that.

I found the options for smtp outgoing in "admin panel" -> "email" tab -> "Emails"

The system lists all emails accounts. So, you can click in a existing account or you can create a new email. The system show the options for configure POP/IMAP or SMTP.

as I enter the admin panel?

You must enter in http://"yoursite"/scp

A login page will be loaded.

After this a new page will be loaded and on top of this page there is three links:

admin panel, my preferences, logout

click in admin panel
