Hi Support,

Why our OAuth2 token expires and could not get auto renewed - faced this issue twice but usually it gets auto renewed. Due to that we did not get any intimation and our hundreds of emails were stuck and did not go through into ticket. Which resulted delayed support to our clients. Please help - this is very critical for us.

This is an old bug that was addressed months ago. Upgrade to v1.17.3, install the latest build of the OAuth2 plugin, and retest.

    Cheers.

Please confirm, OAuth2 plugin latest build needs to be reconfigured from scratch? Or do I just need to upgrade the OSTicket version to 1.17.3 and it will automatically resolve?

You need to upgrade osTicket and replace the old auth-oauth2.phar with the new one. Then restart the webserver and PHP-FPM (if you're running it) to clear any server-side file cache.

      Cheers.

Will it remove the oauth2 plugin configuration? We have 3 - 4 mailboxes configured for different departments. Will we need to reconfigure and reconsent the oauth2 configuration? Or it will work as is after replacing the plugin?

Thanks for your help. I will try updating as advised.

        Hi there,

I successfully updated to v1.17.3 and oauth2 plugin is working fine so far. However, the favicon and its text of different pages has been reverted to osTicket default one. I had updated it in our environment and was there before the upgrade. Do I need to remake the changes on code? If yes, will it be required in every future upgrade?

Any custom modifications to the codebase will need to be re-applied every upgrade, yes.

          Cheers.
