osTicket hyperlinks do not work

Hello, I am carrying out tests and configurations in the osTicket tool, but I am finding that the hyperlinks that can be placed in the response templates do not work correctly, they are always throwing errors between 400, 404 or 403.

As much as I make modifications, I can't find the solution, can you help me? or tell me if I'm missing some configuration.

I have the osTicket: 1.7.3 on the IIS server

KevinTheJedi What I mean is that when I add a hyperlink to a text, for example I put #%{ticket.number} and I add a hyperlink to this text, when I open it it appears duplicated, that is: "https://your. domain.com/scp/https://your.domain.com/view.php?id=43"

No matter how much I modify it, it continues to appear the same, it does not change and on the other hand, if it does change, it gives an error 404 that the page cannot be found...

Therefore, the ticket cannot be seen if the defined osTicket hyperlinks are clicked.

You are either messing up the template or you need to fix your Admin Panel > Settings > System > Helpdesk URL.

I have tried changing the templates and the helpdesk url, and although it already appears "normally" it gives an error 404 not found. If I create a new ticket, adding the new template and putting the url provided by osTicket as default so that users and agents can see the ticket, it automatically gives an error. As if I couldn't find it, I don't know if I should make a separate modification.

I have searched the OsTicket and GitHub forums for some solutions, but when trying to put the solutions accordingly, it does not work for me, I have tried changing the parameters in the file class.variable.php and in class.ticket.php, but I can't to find the solution, perhaps because of my lack of knowledge in programming I am doing it wrong, I have changed the parameters based on what I have reviewed in the forums, I have saved and checked, but the errors continue to appear.

For now it seems that I found a small solution, the user hyperlink works for me, but when I enter it asks me to put my email, is there any way to show the ticket without having to put the email and the ticket number?

Okay, I see why it doesn't work now. You manually appended your helpdesk URL to the variable so it's appending it twice. You only need the variable. The variable uses the Helpdesk URL in Admin Panel > Settings > System so you don't need to manually add it.

If you don't want users to type the ticket number and email address then simply enable the Authentication Tokens setting and disable the Client Quick Access setting in Admin Panel > Settings > Users.

Making the corresponding modifications now it works without problem, although in some tests I did add the url manually, in others it was added automatically, but in this case both the url and the access already work without asking for the email and the ticket number .
