Problem fixed, the hint with the logs was the solution. I had already increased the max_input_vars from 1000 to 3000, but missed to restart the service. Since the error message in the logs remained even after the increase, I have then made up for it. Lo and behold, it works now. The force be with you! Mega cool support by the way, would not have expected such a quick response. Small insider question, when will there be 2.0, new UI and all the cool changes ;-)
