Hello,
is it possible to disable the communication to the user email? So just agents get any emails?
I'm using this system in a way where some generic users create tickets. The generic user has a non existing email address: plastic@plastic.com.
Now I get system logs with email errors since this email address is not reachable.
Just as a side note to understand me, how I use this system:
It runs in a production area where we have machines. E.g. Molding machines in the Plastic area and Metal machines in the Metal area.
Generic users aka Plastic or aka Metal open a ticket with: Machine XX hast problem YY. Or mold 1234 needs repair or cleaning.
I keep it generic users since if they have to use the iPad to create a ticket and have to login with a minimum 15 character email + password + ticket details they wont accept it since they need to keep the floor running and don't have time to write a novel on a iPad . So the user Plastic always stays logged in or the user Metals stays logged in at the iPad in their department. They only select their name in a dropdown for a new ticket so we know who is the creator.
-Our Agents such as maintenance people and Engineers or the Toolshop work on the different topics.
This gives us a history to the problems on machines/tools and also a queue with priorities to work on. Since it is accepted in our department we want to roll it out to the other departments. That's why I ask weird questions since I'm using it quite a bit different. But the great flexibility gives me 98% of what I need.
Like I said I really appreciate all the great help I already received. Also I'm not a IT guy, I'm a "simple" engineer with some IT knowledge so I had work myself into SQL, IIS, DNS, etc.
