Cron Error v1.17.3

Hi!

I hope you are well, I have been following this ticket system for a while and today I took the time to install it.

Everything went well until I set up the cron job.

I have configured the cron job in crontab as follows:

But when I try it from the browser I get this error:

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, can you help me?

You do not access the file in the browser; the cron job uses PHP to call this file automatically.

Also your cron job is wrong. You missed the path to PHP so nothing is running the file. Please research online on how to properly configure a cron job for PHP files.

Should be something like:

*/1 * * * *  ubuntu  php /path/to/your/osTicket-install/api/cron.php

Obviously you'll replace php with the full path to your PHP (you can run whereis php on command line to see the path) and replace /path/to/your/osTicket-install/api/cron.php with your full path to the api/cron.php file.
