I added the number '000' in the input field. but when I click save the data doesn't change. I wonder why?

    You are running an old version an should upgrade.
    I'm also not real sure what it is that you are trying to do.
    Are you opening a ticket?

    I just tried opening a new ticket (1.17.2) with a 00012345 in the subject.. and i worked fine.

      Have you tried changing your ticket in the edit feature?

      if you haven't tried adding 000 to the Summary of Problems column then save if the results match?

        you misunderstand. sorry if I wasn't clear when I told you.

        I mean, try generating it with value 12345 then changing it to 00012345.
        what happens to me is that the value doesn't change at all (it stays at the value 1234).

        please, while editing, just add 000 without any other value.
