Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender

Hi, i'm new to osTicket.
I've installed osTicket 1.15 on a shared server. I couldn`t install the latest version because the server has PHP 7.4.33 and I'm not allowed to upgrade.
Anyway, I could make it work most of it.
E-mail fetching seems to work fine. But i'm having issues with admin e-mail settings.
Everytime I post a comment I receive this message:
Mail D. System posted 2/7/23 12:13 PM Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
pipe to |public_html/api/pipe.php
generated by xxxxx@xxxxx.com
Anyone can help me?

You are using an unsupported osTicket version. The latest supported versions are 1.16.x and 1.17.x. You really need to upgrade and retest. We cannot help with unsupported versions.

1.15 is really old and no longer supported.

What are the settings that you are using for the "admin email"?

Finally could make it work

My hosting gave me a wrong SMTP hostname. I've changed it and it worked.
