Unable to Login

Good evening,

I was having the same issue as reported by some others, whereby the system bumps you back to the main homepage after trying to authenticate with google. It had been happening only with one agent but since started happening with me. I can no longer login. Because I selected 'google' as the required login menu on the helpdesk admin for all users, I cannot login with anyone's password. I tried renaming the plugin from auth-oauth2 to something else, and the login with google option disappeared, but my password still does not work. Any workaround? I am not sure what to change in the DB. Tried a couple of things but nothing works.

also won't send me a password reset to my email when I go for that option. Have deleted all plugins. Removed all plugins from DB

You have to set your backend to NULL in the staff table. You must also set a local password in the passwd column if you don’t already have one. You can use a bcrypt generator online and use 8-round entropy.

I tried part of that solution and ended up trying to restore a DB backup, which errored when it said a plugins table already exists. Not sure if it did part of the import or what, but it seems to have kicked things back into action and I was able to login. The last ticket created from today is there. All my plugins are gone. I'll just reinstall them.
