IMAP php extension is not recognized

Hi All,

I am quite unknown to the world of websites and so on, I have an issue with the IMAP module that is not getting recognized in the install page for osTicket. I am using direct admin on debian 11.

I have installed and enabled the php-imap for php 7.4 and 8.1 but still it wont show in the setup menu.

When I use php8.1 -m I do see imap enabled but when I use php -m I do not see imap

Sounds like either you need to restart the webserver and PHP-FPM or something else is going on at the server level. I would restart the webserver and PHP-FPM first and then reach out to your hosting provider if that doesn't work.

Hi Kevin,

I host my Direct Admin server on my own server.
I am currently rebooting the VM.
