I upgraded from osTicket 1.15.* to 1.16.5 and now when I try to add images to ticket replies, I get "Server Error" and the image isn't displayed. Below is my current configuration. I have toggled all the settings for attachement and so on, I don't see any errors in the logs.
After upgrade from 1.15.* to 1.16.5, can't add images to replies.
Additional screen capture showing my attempt to insert image into response body.
I was running osTicket Reports, but I removed it because it was causing crashes once I upgraded.
Hmmm... can you check your logs (general server logs, webserver error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket System Logs, Browser Console logs, etc.) for any related errors?
Cheers.
Hi Kevin,
I was able to get this error to pop up in my php logs. There isn't an error in osTicket logs, or anything in particular I noticed in windows logs. I also get the "file upload error undefined 500" when I try to add an attachment to a ticket.
It's saying the content you are pasting appears to be empty. How are you uploading the images? Can you try pasting the image in Word or something, copy from there, and upload? Also, do you have any browser extensions, etc. that could be affecting this?
Cheers.

I did everything that KevinTheJedi asked me to do and was getting the same results. I decided to test a "fresh install, with a new database" and the same results. This got me thinking it must be something specific to my setup, long story short, it turned out to be PHP 8.0.32. I updated to the latest version and everything is working now. Thank you very much for your support and suggestions.
