Hi!
I don't know how it is connected but according to my experience it might be. Check your attachment settings on whether or not the images file type is allowed.
You didn't say what file type it is. Does it match the following specs that the system specifies?
Please read the help tip Daedalus01 posted. You can only use .gif, .jpg, or .png files. The logos must also be within very specific dimensions.
Can you try simple PNG file to see if it’s an issue with GIF specifically?
Cheers.
I've tried each one of above mentioned file types. None of them worked. I get the same message every time.
Then I would assume the image is corrupt or the actual mime-type doesn't match.
I am able to upload a logo with no issues.
I have tried all these files .. it is not likely that all files are corrupted .. How can I check if the problem is mime type??
I've tried with these two files
and I got the same result "Unable to upload logo image: Invalid image file type"
What is a “FastStone PNG File”? That could be your issue. Please test with a normal PNG file from the web or something.
FastStone is an image editor software I used to resize logo and save the file. I tried some "dummy logos" created in Paint or IrfanView ( like 40x40 pix red sqare) but I get "Unable to upload logo image: Invalid image file type" every time ..
I've checked - the setting was - No restictions I've tried with adding all possible file types - same problem.
Your screen shot indicates that you are blocking nearly all file types that people would want to upload.
These are my settings.
