Hi there! We have Themedost Kendo theme but I'm not sure how we can use it with the latest version of OS Ticket. I didn't get a response from Themedost developer so I thought I would reach out here. What's the best theme where we can update the theme when we update OS Ticket itself? After updating from Version 1.16 to 1.17 we are not sure how to update the theme because the Kendo installation instructions simply overwrite the existing code base.

Daedalus01 is correct in that you will need to reach out to the maker of the mod for further assistance. We cannot assist with anything that is custom as we did not develop it.

Also, this Forum is for core osTicket and core osTicket plugins only. Anything related to 3rd party mods/themes/plugins/etc. will need to be directed towards the makers.

    Cheers.

At this time, there are no official OSTicket themes so I don't think you will get any answers from the Devs other than "contact the developer of the theme." They have said in the past that in version 2.0+ that themes would either be built in or it be easier to add themes to.

My question is more of a request on best themes to use for OS Ticket. I understand this post should be somewhere else. In which category should it be placed? I mean is there a dedicated category here for 3rd party devs?

No, as I mentioned this forum is for core osTicket and core osTicket plugins. Sometimes 3rd party peeps create threads but we limit them to only those threads. If there are any discussions opened about issues with 3rd party stuff, etc. then we lock them and tell them to contact the 3rd party devs directly.

We do not recommend 3rd party anything as we did not develop nor maintain it so we can't tell you if the code is safe, if it will open you up to security vulnerabilities, etc. So overall anything not core is not recommended.

        Cheers.

alright, fair enough. are there any plans to update the UI of OS Ticket at the core? I'm sure it's been requested before but just thought I'd ask.

v2.0 is our full codebase rewrite that will include a completely modern UI/UX using ReactJS, SemanticUI, and such. It will be fully responsive, theme-able, etc.

          Cheers.
