Adding computer reference linked with users

Hello,

I have to modify osticket so i can create a computer tab such as staff or emails in the admin where it would be possible to add a reference of the computers used by the users and different fields such as description of the computer or its name.

I suppose i have to create a new table for that as well as new pages but i am not sure where to start.

I am using os tickets 1.7

Yes, it sounds like you would need to create a new table to store the additional information that you want to store in your database.

Other than designing your table, I would take a look at the other mods that are available here on the forums. This mod adds a menu option in the admin section under "Manage" and should point you in the right direction.

I did find the tutorial about the dropdown agencies but it is not enough for what i have to do.

I am trying to create a new class using the model of the staff one for now, i will post my result here if i find out a way.
