Daylight saving option missing

OSticket 1.17.2 ..

correct timezone is set,
Database datetime is correct
server datetime is correct.
php.ini timezone is correct (php 8.0)

However tickets have a creation time of one hour off.
In a previous version of OST I could set the daylight saving option.
Where is Daylight saving option in OST 1.17.2 ??

I think you are talking about an option that was in very old versions of osTicket. We dropped that years ago. Nowadays it’s supposed to automatically detect the time change based on a combination of server and system settings. Although I will say that a few time zones (like Asia/Kolkata) are notoriously bad with osTicket and don’t work too well.

What is your server timezone, PHP timezone, database timezone, system Default Timezone, and Agent Profile Time Zone set to? Also, is it old tickets or both new and old tickets showing incorrect times?

Hi Kevin,
Thanks fot the quick reply. As fas as i can see are all timezones set to Europe/Amsterdam.
Also tried a php script to see the now time witch was ok. However still all new tickets are one hour off. To be shure is shall create a ticket (at my provider) to double check all my findings.

All other php apps i have works correctly with datetime except OST.

Hi Kevin, I think i foud a possible reason (i hope). I see in phpinfo() UTC is used for Europe/Amsterdam.
UTC time is indeed one hour off. Also the coordinates makes no sense. These are wayyy off. I consulted my provider.

phpinfo:
date_default_timezone_set: UTC
date.timezone: GMT
date.default_latitude: 31.7667
date.default_longitude: 35.2333

To bad. All settings are OK at my providers side ... still all new tickets are create are one hour off

Are they all set to "Europe/Amsterdam" specifically or an abbreviation, etc.?

KevinTheJedi as promised a report back.. I'm now on a new server and the issue i had .. is gone !!

I'm decided to move to another hosting platform at my provider.. it is much newer and faster and based on plesk.
Hopehully this does the trick.. I report back if the migration is done.
