Hi,
This is our osTicket Server Information:
osTicket Version v1.16.3 (e148727) — Up to date
Web Server Software Apache/2.4.37 () OpenSSL/1.1.1g Phusion_Passenger/6.0.6
MySQL Version 5.7.34
PHP Version 8.0.11

Since October 12th, we are facing numerous "Mail Fetch Failure Alert" messages.
Until then everything was working perfectly.

We have 3 e-mail addresses that generated tickets in osTicket. We are facing the same issue with all 3 mailboxes.
I tried to change the password of one of the mailbox and then change its settings on osTickets, but then I get the following error:
Invalid login. Check POP settings
Fetching Email via IMAP or POP
Can not authenticate to POP3 server: Authentication failure: unknown user name or bad password.

So no ticket is updated or created from e-mails received to these 3 mailboxes.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be the issue here?
Thank you in advance for your help.

I assume you are using MS emails? If so then you should've received MANY emails from MS explaining that they are cutting off Basic Authentication on October 1, 2022 (they sent a lot of notices). If that's the case then you'll need to upgrade to v1.17, install the new OAuth2 plugin, and setup Modern Authentication.

    Cheers.

      Thank you very much KevinTheJedi.

You were right. I did the upgrade with OAuth2 plugin, did all the settings and fetching is working again.
I am really sorry to bother you with my question. I didn't know this Microsoft update was going to affect our settings on osTicket.

      Cheers.
