Import database from old server

Hello, im trying to migrate database from old os ticket server to new ive used mysql workbench migration tool after changing the database in osticket config i cant login as admin. Is it possible create account from ssh?

What is osTicket-u?

So you

export the database, and moved the resulting file to the new server
copied over the ost-config.php file to the new server.
Created the empty database on the new server.
Create the db User (with the same password)
Import the database

its just in my language.
Ive done that created same user to db as on the same server in config ive added the same user as on the old server. granted all priviliges to access database. ive noticed that the database after importing have only 700mb instead of 1gb as the file size. Ive tried importing it with ssh and mysql migration tool with ssh i get error

When i restart the server after db change web page will load but i cant login with admin account

So it's a customized version? If so you will need to reach out to the maintainer of the custom build for further assistance. We can only support core osTicket and core osTicket plugins here.

not sure what you mean by customized version its the latest release 1.17

We don’t add anything to the name so if you have "osTicket-u" that’s not a core version. Where did you download this from?

So for the login issue, what exactly do you mean? Do you have any authentication backends configured?

Should i edit the database manually should it work to import database from 5 mysql to 10? even after error i can see the database have 70% of size the file.

You could check your import script at line 5726, fix it and restart process with clean db?

not sure what you mean i just create blank database and the import it

I would use source instead of importing like that. You just login to MySQL, “use” the database, and run the following:

source /path/to/file.sql;

It ended with same error ive exported it web interface phpmyadmin. Tried manualy just move the tables with program dbeaver but there were also many errors dont know what to do.

Never use phpMyAdmin. It's ass. Always use MySQL Dump command via CLI. This is the best option.
