1.17 release

Hi! I was just wondering if there was a tentative release date for version 1.17 for production. We are currently running version 1.16.3 via an O365 mailbox and are quite keen to jump to 1.17 before the 1st October.

We expect at least RC4 + a new build of plugin with some needed bug fixes and PHP 8.1 support and then shortly after (depending on the reported bugs - if any) stable should be ready. We are definitely still on track for before the cutoff.

While I'm not in any way affiliated with OsTicket, all I can say is it will be released when it's ready. They've gone through 3 RC's so far, with a 4th on the way if I'm not mistaken, and are actively fixing things or changing as users find issues.

I'd also hope for prior to October 1, but at this point, they are obviously working towards it with full steam ahead.
