I'm trying to merge a ticket into another ticket. Normally I don't have any issue with this, but in this instance I'm getting this message when I try to add the ticket to the merge list.

"Merged tickets cannot be added manually. They must be preselected."

I don't understand what it means by "they must be preselected".

Could anyone offer clarification?

    KevinTheJedi Yes, I know. This is the error that comes up when I try to add the ticket I have searched by clicking "Add a ticket". You can see that in my screenshot I am trying to add TB300744.

      I've run into this a few times lately. It appears to occur when I have merged two tickets together (A -> B), then want to merge that ticket into another one (B -> C). If I reverse the process, and merge C into B (A -> B <- C), it seems to work fine.

        Then you simply need to do as the error says and preselect them in the Queue using the Checkboxes.
