The mentioner plugin that added this capability seems to have been abandoned by its developer. There have been no commits to github since 2017 and it causes php errors as of v1.16.x
Staffers at my company frequently collaborate on projects. This plugin alleviated a major point of contention with my users (our previous ticketing solution had this feature built in). Since the plugin seemingly is abandoned, I'm stuck being unable to upgrade beyond v1.15 (since losing this feature is a deal breaker for nearly everyone in my organization). Could this (please, please, please) be considered as an addition to core?
There doesn't seem any reason why users shouldn't be able to add collaborators to their tickets. It doesn't make sense that that responsibility should fall entirely on the agents. But perhaps it could be a feature that is toggled on or off, depending on how the admin decides for their specific needs?
