Check the Discussion "HTTP ERROR 500" by JerbyYT posted 13days ago. Even I encountered the same problem during my installation yesterday and this issue was as @KevinTheJedi mentions osTicket supports PHP 8.0 and not PHP 8.1.
I had on my machine PhP 8.1 and after downgrading to PHP 8.0 all works fine.
