In the old version we have menu options Directory Listing: Show the user on staff's directory
In osTicket (v1.15.7) I can't see this option. Is it possible to have an agent active but not selected from the Assigned To menu options?

Admin Panel > Agents > Agents, click an Agent, click Permissions tab, and under Users tab you will see the User Directory permission.

What you suggest is not what I am looking for.
I need to have agent Konstantin S be active and receive e-mails, but not selectable from the Assignee menu.

That's confusing as the setting you mentioned from v1.7 has nothing to do with this.
Anyways, you can go to any Agent under Admin Panel > Agents > Agents > click the Agent, click the Permissions tab, deselect the option for Agent - Ability to see Agents in all Departments., and Save Changes. Now this Agent will only be able to see the Agents in the Departments they have access to.
