I guess I'm a little confused, I can't figure out how an end-user can set their own username. When signing up through the web portal, they're asked for an email and password, but no username. I see that an agent can set it, but is it possible for a user to set their own?

Also, if they send an email that gets created into a ticket, does that set their username?

    Agents have to add it. Edit the User profile, click Manage Account, click Manage Access, and add a Username.

    If you use LDAP then it should pull the username from AD.
