Hello,
Just manage to fetch from from yahoo. Then I notice that the ticket created show the current time instead of the time the email was send to yahoo
Is there a way to show the time the email was send to yahoo?
Thanks .
newbie111 Is there a way to show the time the email was send to yahoo?
No.
The time is displayed or when the ticket was created.
If you setup polling with cron to collect the mail every couple minutes then it will be more accurate.
It shows the time that the ticket entered the system. I don't think it is possible.
Hi ,
can this be an alternative ?
If at the Yahoo mailbox , I forward the email to osticket support email . would it instantly create the ticket?
Thanks , the mail forwarding does not create the ticket instantly .

You could also setup email piping which in most cases are pretty much instant (sometimes with a few seconds of delay).
Cheers.
KevinTheJedi Thank you so much , manage to get it done with piping .
Right! Piping would be better for closer to real time timestamps. I personally do not use piping since I run Exchange Online.
Thank you , yes piping work for email from yahoo after upgrading to Yahoo plus .
