Howdy. Could use some help.
We're currently running OSTicket 1.15.7 (Msyql 5.7.38; PHP 7.2) on Ubuntu. Things have been going so well we're looking at adding extra departments. But, first, I figured I'd use this time to not only upgrade to the latest LTS of Ubuntu, but also upgrade OSTicket in the process (and also migrating to some better virtual hardware as well).
So, spun up a new version of Ubuntu. Looking to move to latest version of OSTicket (1.16.3). So, installed PHP 8.0, MariaDB. Migrated attachments (they live outside the DB) and the database itself to new server.
The upgrader ran, as expected, without errors. I can access the admin side of OSTicket well, and everything runs fast. The issue is the "staff" side is borderline unusable, taking a minute or longer to return tickets. Clicking on "Tickets" freezes the system.
I've tried migrating to 1.15.8 instead (using PHP 7.4), and the results are the same. Any pointers in where to look? Only thing I haven't really tried is sticking my MySQL (trying to move from MySQL to MariaDB), but wouldn't think this would be an issue, would it?
