Hi there,
I recently encounter trouble with the overall search engine...
For exemple, when opening a ticket for a user, I type 3-4 first digit of the username and two trouble occurs
1- The popup box with corresponding users takes up to a minute to show up
2- It is always in the up-left corner of the page (not the screen, the page) so that if I'm downward, I don't see it.
It happens on every searches (In ticket search, user,...)

I did nothing new on my OSTicket install (just passed to 1.15.7 latest just now)
OSticket 1.15 Latest
MariaDB (overall 25Mo)
Windows Server 2012R2 / IIS / php7.3.1
Any chance to have help on this ?

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean, can you provide a screen shot?

Hi ntozier,
I postponed for weeks before opening a ticket on the forum regarding this and, now that you asked for a screenshot, all is fine and smooth! Trouble seem to be vanished !

I updated to latest yesterday... maybe it fixed my issue regarding this...

I now have trouble with the plugin "Attachments on the filesystem"

I can download file joint to ticket by end-users but my coworker cannot... Browser try to download but gives an "server error"...

When you upgraded did you also upgrade the Attachments on the filesystem plugin?
Is the attachment on a ticket that your coworker has access to?

Yes I did update every plugins as well... I download the full package selected from download center of Osticket...

And Yes, my coworker as access to the ticket. It's assigned to him and I'm the overall admin so I can access it too.

Oddely, today everything is working fine... search engine and popup results are ok and this coworker can download attached files...
System logs shows a few token errors for that user... don't know if it is relevant...

It's ununderstandable!! 😅

Did you clear your broswer cache after you upgraded?
Some times browser cache can cause wonkiness after an upgrade with behavior,.

Yes I did. just after upgrade and few times after that 😁
That said, it is probably web browser cache related as all went fine the next day.

It's not related to this thread so I should probably open a new one but I'm having a hard time trying to upgrade PHP to 8 from 7 (Error 500 anytimes) and so I can't upgrade OSTicket to 1.16...
Any clue ?

I haven't upgrade my own production site to PHP 8 yet (Windows 2019) but it is on my to do list.
I have some other projects ahead of it right now.
My first guess would be that you would need to update the PHP handler mappings in IIS manager.

I'm not that good in PHP setup... I will look into the handler in IIS though.
Why did you put (Windows 2019) ?

Many thanks for your advices !

I was trying to indicate that i was running server 2019.
