error on final install step

I am trying to do a new installation. I am using IIS, mysql with heidisql. On the last step of the installation i get this error.

PHP 8.1.4 is the most recent build installed and the one registered
HeidiSQL 11.3.0.6295
MySQL 5.5

Please read the minimum requirements before installing. You would see that v1.16.1 requires PHP 8.0.

Thanks. I registered v8 and it worked. I wouldn't have thought v8.1 would be an issue.
