I have installed osTicket locally using IIS. Have followed the documentation to setup IMAP and SMTP with a gmail account. SMTP works fine, but I cannot fetch emails with IMAP+SSL. Have enable IMAP via gmail, as well as turning on the fetch emails setting in osTicket.


I have tried fetching from the gmail inbox, or a custom label/folder. I notice that osTicket is creating a custom label in gmail, when I specify a folder to move fetched emails too. So osTicket is talking to gmail, but not fetching the tickets. Why is this not working?

    Thanks... I get it now, Fetch on auto-cron needs to be enabled.

    Originally I followed the video guide on how to setup gmail. I note that the dev got it to work then, without needing to enable Fetch on auto-cron. What's changed since then, and why?

    You do not need to enable Auto-cron...you must steup a Cron Job so the mail is automatically polled. If you use auto-cron then it's only going to fetch on Agent login and activity.
