HI all, need some advise - I am hosting OSTicket on hostgator and upgraded - not realizing hostgator is not on PHP8. I am now stuck in this window
and need to know how to back out of it to revert back to the old version and bring the system online again. Please advise. Thanks
Upgrade failed
Restore the files from your site backup you made before installing the new version.
If you didn't take a backup first... naughty.

experiencing the same... on Hostgator, it said upgrade available in the Softaculous Apps Installer, with one button to click... but when I log in, it tells me that message that I need PHP8, which Hostgator isn't supporting yet.
If you restore your files, just make sure you keep your good ost-config.php, right?
Yes, just keep your original ost-config.php, the original database from before the upgrade attempt, and the original files from the previous version you had installed.
