I've been struggling with a few... inconsistencies.
1) I use Amazon AWS SES for sending emails. Strangely I use port 465 when sending emails via FluentSMTP within Wordpress however within osTicket it seemingly won't authorise but port 25 does work (within osTicket). Strangely though FluentSMTP won't work with port 25. Bit of a weird inconsistency?
2) I setup osTicket and set a .academy domain name as the admin notification address. No emails would get delivered to that address. When setting up osTicket on a different domain (a .com) I used the same approach but the notification emails worked perfectly. I thought perhaps it was a DNS email issue, or a spam filter issue, however given the .com is on exactly the same hosting, it's now making me think it's a tld related issue. Would a .academy work or is it some how not being identified as a valid email (hence no email is sent)?
