Task cannot edit due date or change status? Blank fly-outs.

When trying to edit the due date or status for a task (open ticket -> tasks tab -> "View task" then edit the date) I get an empty box that would contain the calendar selection. I also noticed status shows the same behavior under the task. If I look in browser dev tools I see a 403 forbidden error? Unsure if it's actually related or useful though.

Seems like your web server is denying the request. Are you using Apache or NGINX?

KevinTheJedi Apache2, I've set folder permissions to 775 and it's owned by www-data u/g. Only thing I changed permission on was the config file.

I would suggest setting up a fresh install with no mods and see if you experience the same issue.

I did consider the OST Awesome theme could have been an issue so I rolled back the front end folders to use the native OST front end with no modifications. Same behavior, same 403 in the browser dev tools, HOWEVER; I'm not convinced that's completely accurate anymore.

When following the site and apache2 error logs and generating the same behavior I don't see any messages thrown at all. My site error log doesn't show any errors since Friday the 11th and apache2 threw an unrelated issue at midnight last night.

I cleared browser cache and started over with a fresh login when I realized on a different task I wasn't getting the issue so it seems isolated to 1 particular task that may have been handled with a poor workflow. Unfortunately it seems I can't take control of the task or even delete it anymore. In short: if I open a different task the status(es) and due date calendar work fine so it appears to be 1 buggy task giving this behavior.

I think I nailed it. I had this assigned to a team I could see but was not "in" with access all permissions. I used another account, specifically the original administrator account, and force assigned it to myself and now it's all working again.

While not a bug per se it seems this is a poorly handled error and it seems to be related to OST Awesome but I didn't exactly test it correctly after switching the themes back (which is to say the problematic task AND a non-problematic task.)
