I have my ticket system set up to receive emails mostly through a single account.
I'm also playing games with the email filters so the email may arrive with various possible aliases, depending on why people might be contacting the system (so they might reply to "special-event" or "consultation" or such. That approach works beautifully for routing emails to different departments and help topics.
The problem is that the alias address is always added as a ticket collaborator, and by default, it gets a copy of the response. osTicket prevents that from causing mayhem by recognizing the email loop and discarding the reply, but it seems "unclean" to do that and I would prefer never to have collaborators auto-assigned in that case. I've hunted around for settings to turn off that behavior, but to no avail. Any suggestions, or do I just have to keep cleaning up the "Email loop detected" logs?
