This seems to be a very common issue, as I see tons of posts about it, but I'm not supposed to hijack other posts. So here's mine.
We have been seeing this issue on and off for months now. It will work fine for a while, and then stop and the error messages begin. Eventually, for reasons, the error messages then stop again. But this a temporary respite, because the errors messages always return at some point.


We were behind on updates to OSTicket, so we updated to v1.15.4. Still errors.
We had issues with our ADFS and proxy server not communicating. Fixed that, still errors.
We thought it might be as simple as a password issue, changed password on our OSTicket email account and updated OSTicket to reflect this. Still errors.
This is our current setup:

Our company email is managed through Office 365. We have an account dedicated for OSTicket which is used to receive and send emails. Checking this account through the 365 Exchange admin panel reveals no problems. This account can successfully login to our domain, and emails sent to or from it directly are processing correctly. Yet OSTicket for some reason consistently cannot access it.
